Sainik Awasiya Mahavidyalaya, Bhaktapur (SAMB) established in 2035, in the name of Suping Campus at Bhimphedi, Makawanpur (shifted to Sallaghari, Bhaktapur in 2043/44) under the affiliation of Tribhuvan University, has completed nearly four decades of her academic itinerary with many outstanding achievements- be it in the domains of academics or extra-curricular activities- under the aegis of Nepalese Army Welfare Fund. SAMB has been providing quality education at an affordable cost to around three thousands students daily from Grade Six to Ten in High School, Grade Eleven and Twelve in Higher Secondary School, and BBA and B. Sc. in the Bachelor’s Levels under the professional and competent leadership of veteran Nepalese citizens as the heads of the institution hitherto. The Mahavidyalaya is steadily being driven by visionary and dynamic intellectuals, highly experienced teachers, and supportive staff members. SAMB has already produced 23 Batches in High School and 36 Batches in Higher Secondary School in four decades of her meticulous academic journey and is steadily marching ahead to offer quality education for the overall development of her students. We are quite expectant that our products who are highly competent, dexterous, patriotic, and pragmatic will contribute immensely in sundry spheres of life at home or abroad.
SAMB has been mobilizing its entire human and physical resources in pursuit of active learning in day-to-day class activities, number of extra – curricular activities including sports events, series of soft skills and personality development programs for the students. Since Mahavidyalaya is a residential school for around 2000 students, it conducts regular activities for physical and intellectual growth every day from early in the morning till late evening that may help us achieve academic excellence.
Nevertheless, its mission of Academic Excellence is yet to be achieved through modernization of academic and administrative functions by optimum use of available resources. In addition, it has plan to run some demanding programs in undergraduate and graduate levels for the optimum use of available resources which would help in the vertical and horizontal growth of the Mahavidyalaya in coming days. We expect moral support from all the stakeholders to strengthen its academic function in a competitive way for the generation of 21st century who would play active role to serve the mother nation from different angles.
