The Mahavidyalaya has well-equipped Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, English and Geography labs. It also has a clay and craft room that works like a lab. The Mahavidyalaya also has spacious internet labs with round the clock broadband internet facilities. Our students and teachers are making the use of Multimedia Rooms which have been set up recently to facilitate their Power Point, Smart Board Presentations and the idea of e-learning and help the students grasp their subject matter easily.

The library is the nerve centre of an educational institution. The range of books outside the orbit of textbooks should be enlarged. The Mahavidyalaya has well-equipped central library along with other junior and reference libraries for the students of all levels. They have good collection of books, journals, and newspapers. All the students are encouraged to borrow books to read in their spare time. Different reading rooms have been adequately provided with periodicals, newspapers and magazines – English and Nepali. Every year newly published books are added to the stock and library facilities are upgraded constantly to meet the ever growing requirements of the students. We have good collections of CDs in the audio-visual sections of the libraries. Recently we have introduced e-library as well.

The Mahavidyalaya has earned a good name for the excellent records in academics and achievements in sports. Students have access to extensive sports facilities that include football and cricket grounds, volleyball, badminton and basketball courts and halls for playing various indoor games.
The Mahavidyalaya provides facilities for many sports activities that encourage the spirit of healthy competition, team building and sportsmanship. Inter-colour and inter-section competitions are also the highlights of sports activities at the Mahavidyalaya. Our students take part in various tournaments from time to time. Our young footballers have glorified the Mahavidyalayas with their sterling performances in the regional and national level football tournaments. Our students have well understood that playground is a place to co-operate with others, respecting the rights of others and enjoying the game with the utmost discipline.

The Mahavidyalaya has a reliable fleet of buses for the day scholar girl students and Morning Shift students (Grade XI, XII and Bachelor’s Level). We provide effective shuttle facilities at an affordable cost. The bus routes are arranged to suit the convenience of the students as far as possible after the consultation with the concerned parents or guardians.

The real success of education is the blend of academic, co-curricular, and extra-curricular activities. The purpose of our co-curricular and extra-curricular activities is to provide opportunities for the overall development of the students so that they can grow into the useful citizens of the country.
The Mahavidyalaya offers a wide spectrum of literary and co-curricular activities such as environmental projects, debates, dramatics, quiz, elocution, essay, story and poetry writing competitions and so on. All these competitions are held both in English and Nepali. The extra-curricular activities aim at the personality development and the co-curricular activities aim at supporting the learning activities in the classes, which are organized regularly. It is compulsory for each student to be a member of, at least, two clubs out of thirty five clubs that are run in the Mahavidyalaya.
All the clubs are actively run, and from time to time various competitions and contests are also held. These activities help in building the character and enhance the leadership qualities in the students. Talents are harnessed and refined for character building and leadership is sharpened with extra and co-curricular activities.
